La ligne de départ vient d'être publiée pour la plus grande course d'europe et la plus nordique ( bien au delà du cercle polaire). 4 français vont s'élancer sur les 1000 km. Seuls trois français ont réussi à terminer cette course. Car rien que de la finir est un véritable exploit comparable à celui de finir l'Iditarod en alaska.
Catherine Fontaine, JP Pontier, Sebastien Vergnaud et mon ami François Pagnoux qui va peut être courir avec un de mes chiens seront les dignes représentants de la France. Je leur souhaite à tous de franchir cette ligne d'arrivée à Alta dans de bonnes conditions. Et j'espère toujours un jour m'aligner aussi sur cette course que j'ai bien failli faire l'année passée.
The starting line has been published for the biggest race of Europe and the northernmost (well beyond the polar circle). 4 French will jump on the 1000 km. Only three French have managed to finish the race. For nothing but the finish is comparable to a real feat to finish the Iditarod in Alaska.
Catherine Fontaine, JP Pontier, Sebastien Vergnaud and my friend François Pagnoux will be maybe run with one of my dogs will be worthy representatives of France. I wish them all to cross that finish line in Alta in good conditions. And I still hope one day bring me also in this race that I almost do last year.
